When do students have to accept or reject their offer. I am on the wait listing list and would love a spot.

To the question below, did you mean tuition deposit? The email states: "Please note that because we have a waiting list of students for this award, we request that you let us know of your decision by submitting the nonrefundable $500 graduate tuition deposit as soon as possible." Weird that they haven't provided a definite date by which to revert. Anyone know what exactly "as soon as possible" means? I'm still waiting for my USC decision before making a decision, so have to know the date NYU expects a response by.

What! Accepted with $8k/yr scholarship. Happy but scared as well! First admit after 3 rejects from Cornell, GaTech and CMU.

Checked myfile after seeing people had heard back on the forum. I had been waitlisted, but I guess I didn't make it through!

Could admitted students share the value of the fellowship?

i heard that all of their undergrad students just stay there and this was my last choice school so really not upset at all

Hi! To the posters below, I am also on the waitlist and got this information from my Fulbright adviser who was in contact with Graduate Admissions. "The earliest we will look at the waitlist is around April 15. However, we not have a timeline for finalizing the waitlist. Generally, applicants can be admitted to a program until the start of the semester so offers can go out until sometime in August." Accepted off the waitlist yesterday, and accepted this morning!
