Im in out of state candidate with an overall GPA of 3.83, major/ speech pathology GPA of 4.0, decent GRE scores, 1 year or research experience in neuroscience, 60 + hours observing in multiple settings, bilingual and interested in a bilingual credential, 2 + years working as an RBT/ behavior therapist with children who have autism, 2/3 great letters of recommendation, and a letter of intent I spent half a year typing. UT Austin was my top school and I'm accepting the admission! Good luck to everyone else out there!!! | ||||

Major GPA: 3.56 from top Texas university, bilingual (Spanish), 50+ hours of volunteering shadowing (mostly pediatric but also adult), 1 semester of research assisting, 1 year studying abroad and 6 week teaching experience abroad, currently working as an office manager in a speech clinic, 2/3 strong LORs I didn't expect to get accepted since I'm not the best candidate and I'm alumni (I know UT likes outsiders) but it was my number 2 school so I wouldn't have to move cities. It's down to Texas State or I have to leave Austin :( Congrats to everyone that got accepted! | ||||
