Is it customary to have the POI reach out to you during the process for master's degree? And if the POI haven't reached out by now, does that mean it's probably a rejection?

If you have a better offer, please please let them know your decision asap. We are waiting!!! Thank you!

Just received an email stating that I was put on the wait list. International applicant.

To the poster below who asked my status I am a Canadian resident, not international

If anyone heard any news about PhD Mechanical admission at UofT please post here?

To the poster below who's been accepted: can you please specify your status (canadian or internationa)l? thanks

Shot down--0a/13r. This is the second year in a row. Damn it, this is some tomfoolery.

Snail mail arrived today. Standard rejection. Congrats to those admitted. Can't lie, I'm bummed, but it's really UofTs loss...I would make an excellent grad student.

Great email from coordinator and supervisor. Shame I will probably turn it down if I get into Global Affairs/International Relations

RE: Yes, I emailed to ask about my status.

sgs still shows "under review". The admission office replied: applicants applied before Nov. 15 will get the results sometime in March. :(

Found out by email, official letter in the mail and received $5000 award!

Email from POI - Yeeeehaaaawwwww!

to the person who was wait-listed: did you email them first about your status?

Any offer?
