Excited to have been accepted off the waitlist! Excellent program but way too expensive! Will be declining and have decided to go to a Boston school. Good luck everyone!

so i had the interview yesterday and it was about a 2 and a half long interview for me, first we had an info session about the program and then we either split into individual interviews or started the writing sample. I thought it went okay, for me, the faculty member that interviewed me was more curious about why i chose the major and didn't ask any personal questions. just more so about why i see myself as a psychologist and about my undergrad/work experiences. i have yet to hear if i am accepted or rejected yet.

To the poster asking about NYU online, I applied in early February. There was a form I had to fill out that I didn't know about (enrollment verification at my current post bacc program stating when I would finish) that may have delayed my acceptance a bit.

Waitlisted and interviewed on Tuesday (4/17). Please if you don't wish to attend this school please deny your acceptance so hopefully people like me can be offered admission from the waitlist. This is my top choice.

To the poster below that got in the Online program. When did you apply? I'm debating if I should apply to the online program because I may not be able to get in anywhere for Fall :/

Online program. Received phone call and an admit letter to sign via email. Declined since I've already committed to another program. To posters asking why people who have committed are still on waitlists, I would suggest that funding has something to do with it. I was not on a waitlist, but it took forever to hear back and I had to make a decision. I held off declining because I was waiting to see if I got a better financial aid deal (I didn't). Some people are also waiting to hear from their dream schools, and although frustrating for those who are waitlisted I think people have the right to give themselves options.

To the person who was accepted into NYU today, was that for the online program or in person? Were you waitlisted?
