Permanent resident in Canada. Applied to Junior/Intermediate (Accepted) and Intermediate/Senior (Waitlisted) divisions. Received an email today. Will turn down my admission for Junior/Intermediate division.

Received informal offer from Graduate Program Assistant Carolynn Branton. Funding details to follow.

Just talked to the supervisor I applied to and she said they JUST reviewed the first pool of applicants. For some reason I wasn't in that pool, either because I applied Feb 7 (maybe too late for the first pool) or because I didn't get in. Hoping the former. Anyway you should hear today!

Gone crazy checking my inbox all the time.I enquired when should I expect the email regarding admissions and the coordinator reverted "we should have notices sent out early next week".

Canadian applicant. Rejected to PhD but recommended to MA program. If it is funded I will take it. Waiting to hear.

To the poster below-same here...MI at U of T is also my first choice. My application was completed around January 10 and I just emailed the ischool two hours ago asking approximately when I can expect a response from them because I have to decide whether to take the offer from my second choice very soon. She got back to me in 9 min saying "We are currently reviewing your application. When a decision is made, we will let you know."...im guessing we will get the results sometime next week...sigh.......

Received a generic copy+paste email around 7:00 PM saying, in simplified terms, 'you were rejected, please do not contact us about why'. Not surprised, though, since this application was certainly a long-shot. On to bigger (and hopefully better) things!

The wait is over. Email notification, with funding offer attached. Formal letter by post to follow. Applied in January. Good funding to the tune of 25k+. I'm thrilled ! Good luck to the rest of you.
