I'm waiting for UCI too :( However, I am accepting another offer... UCI is my first choice, I will remain optimistic until I get a rejection!

I am still waiting but without hope. Last time when I had applied for masters there, they sent my rejection email in june.

Too late, already accepted elsewhere, but not to worry, it was my last choice. So going to decline it :)

"You should expect to receive an email message from the Office of Graduate Studies asking you to complete an online Statement of Intent to Register (SIR)." from the ICS tracker website.

I called UCI and they said that no rejections sent out. It can continue until mid May for them to finalize their decisions. I also heard that it can even be June... Dont hope anything from Irvine if you are still not accepted :(((

To the poster below: Yes, I was shocked to find my email address, along with at least 50 other email addresses (most with their first and last names), receiving the same generic rejection letter from UCI. Rude, rude, rude!!! PS UCI: I've already gotten into (and accepted) another program. Also UCI you might want to speed up your application processing system...April 11 is pretty late for such a flippant (and careless) rejecton notification....I'm sure the rest of the group (email) agrees.

To the UC Irvine poster below...Oh my goodness! I can't believe a school or grad director would send out a mass rejection email. I'm happy none of my programs did that but that has to be against some kind of rules! I would call the graduate office or do a reply all and inform them/him of his rudeness immediately! Now everybody knows your business! I would have no respect for that guy whatsoever.

I'd like to suggest to Bob Uriu, Graduate Student Admissions Coordinator at UCI, to stop sending out group rejection emails. It is not only rude, but a huge invasion of privacy!

emailed them to ask about the status..and this is their reply.. "We do not know when a decision will be made on your application or when the decision process will be complete. If you’ve received offers from other schools and it is necessary for you to make a decision, we can only suggest that you may want to consider your other offers at this time" hmm.. i guess they are happy with the application fee money, dont want me paying them tuition too..

When will they give the results ?? I am so tired of waiting :-(

It was my safety school. First school I've heard back from. Sucks to hear rejection though. Good luck to everyone else.
