Poster below - when did you submit your application?

Acceptance was dated the 24th of February and received it in the mail on March 2nd. I then received an e-mail on March 3rd congratulating me on my acceptance and inviting me to an event.

To the iSchool applicants getting their acceptances, please tell us when you guys submitted your complete applications. It would help us a ton

Domestic student. 5K funding plus 6K TA offer.

No GRE, solid GPA but relatively poor quant background. Very surprised by offer to be honest, but not complaining

To the person who just posted your offer below-did you get the acceptance email on Friday March 3? and exactly at what time? Can you please share your stats? thanks!

Does anyone know how many applicants the program takes per year? I sent them an email asking when we could expect a response to our applications but nothing so far. Been waiting anxiously all month for the March 3rd deadline and it just came and went with nothing...

to the posters from the ischool that have already been accepted. Please provide info as to when your application was complete (all documents submitted) this is crucial information for those still waiting.

I had an interview with POI two weeks ago, received admission offer today for the MSc program. Accepted the offer, will be starting this fall.

Applied to PhD, got a very kind email offering an MA spot

PhD applicant to the iSchool. I received all the same invites as the MA students. Have a strong MA from Leicester. Canadian applicant and UofT alum. 20 years working in my field. Nothing in ROSI, or elsewhere. I have finally caved and posted my insecurities here. Maybe I'll find a gift in my mail box when I come home tonight. I have my doubts. D:

Email the program director; I was told that the admission committee recommends to give me an offer of acceptance. Their recommendations then go to the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) for their review, approval, and action, which can take several weeks. --to those who are anxiously waiting, it really takes them a long time....fingers crossed

How do you check your ROSI status?

To the iSchool applicants who got accepted below: when did you submit your applications?

Hey guys, about the ROSI thing. They usually send out acceptances in batches, so even if you don't have a letter now or Invited on ROSI, keep checking every week or so. They send out acceptances and see who accepts so they know how many they can accept the next round. Also, sgs usually takes a long time to update (some people's still says under review when they are already enrolled in the program.). Pay more attention to your mailbox and ROSI status. Lastly, they might not reject people yet (unless you don't need minimum requirements). So if you don't hear back right away with a yes/no, you are most likely going to be wait listed until the official deadline closes and they make their decision about the applications that came in later. I know that method sucks but part of me hopes that happens because I have yet to submit, so I hope I have a fair chance of getting in as well if I'm a strong enough candidate. Be patient everyone, if it is meant to be, it will happen!
