Hi has anyone received an update on their application including acceptance or rejection? Feeling super anxious as it is a top choice.

TTPB: I also have received the decision update. It is situated right next to the "View details" link. It is a link that says "View Decision". The update says they have got over 600 applications this year for a cohort of 12.

To the student that just posted about the rejection on the Princeton portal below - where exactly did you see the application update? Are you referring to the ApplyWeb portal? Very anxious generally about all decisions this cycle.

Great GPA and stats, 2 years of research at a top 10 school. Happened to check the website, it said the decision was updated. Good luck to those admitted. Very disappointed. American Politics.

GPA is for Quant heavy Master's degree. Kind of surprised, but it's a competitive season. Best of luck to those admitted or on waitlist.

Surprised by the rejection, as I felt I was a strong fit for the program. Submitted every optional supplemental document and writing sample/essay as well. Very disappointed.

Meh, first of the cycle. its weird for me bc my third LOR finally submitted theirs this morning, hours before getting result. Cant help put to think how much it would of changed the decision seeing as my LOR is a well known DGS in the field.

Received a mail saying there's an update to my status, clicked and saw I have been rejected. Although I wasn't a good fit and applied since they had waived the app fee, I am still pretty dejected since this was the first reply I received this application cycle. Can only hope I receive an offer from elsewhere

Got an email to check the application portal.

No email viewed website and saw notification, first reply and a rejection bummer.

It was a personalized email from the DGS (CC) with POI cc'ed. It mentioned "formal decision and offer of admissions from the Dean of Graduate Studies will follow soon."

To the Merced Political Science, PhD entry, congratulations! Was your e-mail personalized or was it a mass e-mail. If it was personalized I assume there is still hope for me as they might be rolling them out individually.

Do the applicant below: I don't have any red Xs or even a GRE row in my checklist. If you wrote down your unofficial GRE scores, they might have automatically added this awaiting message for official scores (I suppose)

Do other Yale applicants have a red 'x' next to "Awaiting GRE" on their portal? The GRE was not required this year, so I did not send an official score report.
