The email said that they usually admit waitlisted students, however, it still depends on the situation each year. Nearly 60 applicants applied this program. The final result will sent out by June 8th.

(Same guys as below, just wanted to add some details). Conditional offer on the 9th of April (Needed to send in my transcripts). Unconditional offer on the 5th of May. I was notified 10 days after submitting my application.

Majored in chem and have 2 years of post-bacc neuroimaging research. Iowa is the only school that allowed me to defer admission to travel.

took over 3 months to hear back. no interview. not surprised with results.

Contacted USUHS to inquire about application status. They said they have already filled all the spots. Was hoping to at least receive an email, letter, or phone call though.

Better luck next year I suppose, if motivation can persist through countless rejections

No interview invitation or no contacts. Why did they take so long to send a rejection letter? I almost thought my application was not even reviewed due to some technical program. Got accepted to a much better school anyways.

Will be going! Due to another program's deadline, I asked QC to give me a decision early - I'm glad they did! Can't wait to work with Dr. Beeler.
