2.5 years undergrad research, 1 year industry, 2.5 years research in a famous research institution. I flew there in October to meet with a professor who kept telling me to apply. I'm pretty surprised after meeting with them - I'm really not sure what I could have done better. Bummed I didn't even get an interview.

Emailed admissions and was notified all of their interview slots were filled up and I had not made the waitlist. Good luck to all those who received interview offers!

Received an email from a professor saying my application "stood out" and he would like to have a phone call with me. Had the phone call yesterday (1/2/19) and he said the admissions committee should be making final decisions in the next two weeks or so.

Two offered interview weekends: January 22-25 and February 5-8
