A response to the two posters below. I received an informal email from Daniel Shea, an administrative assistant from the Mech E graduate office, with a formal admission offer letter from the admission chair attached. When prompted, the graduate office responded by stating that the admission offers are made on a rolling basis and more information regarding the open house (March 13-16) will be provided early next week. You should hear from them soon. Best of luck!

Admit only one per year. Expected but quite sad. I hope to be admitted by My real dream school next week!

Email to check the website. Was one of the higher end colleges in my list so I'm not devastated as such, but a rejection stings anyway.

Has anyone received an interview request yet?

American/methods. Letter says fewer than 9% admitted of over 380 applicants.

Methods applicant. Very strong letters from big name political methodologists. Good letter from a well established econometrician.

Email to check online portal. Thankfully already accepted to another PhD program; would have been interesting to hear their pitch as they are known to be rigorous in their approach to analysis.

Email to check website.

Got an email saying I am funded for first year. The official email for the award name and exact details coming next week.

Engineering bachelors and masters from one of the top schools in my country. 4.5 years of experience in risk management for a major credit card company in New York. A bit surprised to not even get an interview call.
