We have recently sent our first round of offers. Unfortunately, you were not among them, and given your ranking in the pool, it is very unlikely that you will be offered a position. I'm sorry for giving you the bad news. Jeremy Ask to her she is kind. Good luck to all who got accepted. I think Canada is not for me.

I asked them about my profile and then they sent me this : Decisions are still in process. Offer letters are going out on a rolling basis at this time and will continue through the end of March. I consider this as a rejection!

Have any folks who received the "active consideration" notice last month received further news? I have not heard anything yet.

TTPB: me too haven't heard anything from UCONN's physics department. Have you contacted anyone? (POI or admission committee). May I know which Research Group or Professor you mentioned in your application and personal statement? Your reply may help me.

Undergraduate Degree in Physics (8.95), from Greek University. Rejection expected.

TTPB who got accepted in QM group: Did you get funding? Also, did you have to sit for an interview, if so with whom?

No email notification - I found a generic letter in my portal. After several other rejections, this was no surprise and didn't upset me. This was a very hard year to get a spot, and there's nobody to blame. In spite of this however, it is absolutely ludicrous that they couldn't notified us about rejections by email, considering the amount of money we spend in their application fees.

Nope, didn't correspond with anyone/the Uni since submitting my app. Didn't even attend the open house due to inconvenient timezone hours... and honestly, I had pretty much given up hope lol. So hang in there, the unexpected can happen!

I was accepted last year (without financial aid), but got rejected this time around. Tough luck I guess!

I also haven't heard anything yet from Connecticut. Did you apply to jorgensen and hariott fellowships? If yes,did u get the update?

Ignore the wait-list. Have anyone heard anything from the university. No one even posted anything here.
