To poster below: I was officially admitted but not for HET. Open house is March 12th.

Received email to check website. JD/MBA that decided to seek PhD later in life. Disappointed, but realize PhD seekers late in life are not as competitive. Also, Penn was not first choice.

Has anyone been officially accepted to or rejected by University of Pennsylvania, specifically for high energy theory? Also, does anyone know when its open house is? I've yet to hear back from them after my interview.

Had consistent summer research, and one second-author on a publication.

This surprised me since I got into a couple higher ranked programs. Oh well, better offers anyways, congrats to whoever got in!

To the poster who replied to me: I was interviewed last Tuesday and was told EXACTLY the same thing! Today was supposed to be day 10! Don’t know how I’m going to pass the weekend, and every day after that...

To the post below: I just e-mailed the program coordinator. I was told in the interview that the results would be ready in a week or 10 days. I won't make it through another weekend! haha
