Not selected for AMS. Notified by email: "The selection committee has nominated the candidates for the Amsterdam Excellence Scholarship (AES) and Amsterdam Merit Scholarship (AMS). Unfortunately, you are not selected for any of these scholarships." [etc.]

I had inquired about the status of my application to the graduate program, they sent me a mail saying that I have been put on the waitlist. This is my top choice so if anyone isn't interested in UConn's physics program please reject it :)

TTPB: I was only informed of getting rejected from Jorgensen and harriott fellowships in mid-Feb through the website. No news yet on whether application was successful or not. They don't respond to emails.

TTBP: Thank you for the update. Wasn't the deadline for admissions the 15th of January? Perhaps you managed to apply before December 15th and they sent early decisions. In any case, good luck with your admissions!

TTPB: I got an admission from Amherst on Jan 10. I also went to an open house and there were nearly 20 people, maybe more. I think they are waiting for the accepted people to accept the offer or decline. If I get into a better one (one option left) I would decline Amherst. But there is no hope left!
