TTPB: Online guy sounds wrong. k let's put it this way- I checked the posts from last year and 19 acceptances were posted in Feb and 1 much later (probably wait list). We already see 8 acceptances posted. That means for the rest of us active on this site, probably only 11 of us will be accepted. That makes the odds pretty small, maybe 4% of acceptance for those of us who remain given the 7% admission rate?

TTPB: I didnt get any notification from SVL. When was your interview? Did you interview with SS?

Anyone heard back from SVL?

TTPB: I hope not and that the online person was wrong. But seems like it might be the case? I don't get why they need to do admissions in such a sus way. Why not just notify everyone at the same time? Why was one random person accepted in January? None of it makes sense.

TTPB: Can you share the link with us? What's your source for the rejection thing?

TTPB: Does this mean everyone left has been rejected? Do POIs always give unofficial acceptances before the official one?

Someone online said that if you haven't heard from PI yet then it's a rejection. I guess I'm rejected then.

Looks like all POIs have already made informal offers

Last year the notifications were at midnight so we all get to lose sleep to see our rejections in the portal. Sigh.

Does anyone know when the Official results would be out?

I wonder if Stanford professors call/email unofficial acceptance to all accepted students?
