Aye , the rejection was as cold as the frozen heart trapped inside a prestigious beast. This made my choice easy because it is hard to choose between a school with heart who is warm and inviting and one who treats you like a criminal but holds a lot of money. 'Twas quite a relief, I dare say. On to better things and places that will be there for me when I need them.

I called the anthropology department this morning - they are in the process of convening, but no decisions have yet been made. The decisions process will likely begin on Friday. Hopefully this helps anyone who might be anxious.
