Skype Interview in Jan, emails from professors in February and earlier this week, official acceptance 2/19 via email

Emailed me saying I didn't get in, but that they thought my application was strong and they are encouraging me to apply to the Master's of the Environment professional degree program instead. Hoping I have better luck with the MENV program!

First acceptance! :) waiting for 5 more desicions. So grateful to be IN grad school!

Received letter in the mail. Was expecting it after other posts about rejections. SO very disappointing. Best of luck to everyone else during this nerve-racking experience. 0a/0w/2r Still waiting for 4 schools. *fingers crossed*

4 years of post-undergrad work/study experience abroad

Fit seemed very important. Met with faculty at an academic conference prior to applying. Five years full funding, and $26,800 stipend #ballsohard

Applied to Ph.D. Program, got admitted MA program. No funding available.

To the person inquiring about my admission to the American Studies Masters program at Brown, I hadn't heard that the program was solely for international students. I am an American and and some of the faculty with whom I had exchanges, never indicated that nationality was relevant at all. Perhaps there was a time when the program was designed for international students only? Are you awaiting a decision ?
