Over 4 years of research experience (2 years part-time in undergrad, 1 summer internship at top biomedical research institute, 2 years full-time post grad). 2 publications (1 accepted in high IF journal, 1 in revision in ok journal). 9 poster presentations at several local, regional and national conferences. 3 strong letters of recommendation. Accepted to DOW-MIT Access program as an undergrad. I don't think they were able to look past my undergrad GPA and GRE scores (as if they even matter in graduate school lmao). Congrats to all of you who did get accepted!

Has anyone of you have heard from Purdue after interview round. Or mailed the graduate committee to know when will they declare the results?

Deeply shocked by the decision. Got an email last night before 12am from the professor. Apparently it was 3 am at east coast. Really surprised.

My advisor moved to Duke Chem from where I am getting my MS this spring but it did not help me get into this program. Research experience is not excellent, with 1 manuscript in prep.

Inquired about my application status, received the following response below: "Thank you for reaching out. Please note that although offices cannot comment on any particular application status, in general we can state that the majority of admission offer letters are presented by or before the month of February."

To the poster bellow: I emailed to inquire about my application status (it seems as though a lot of people have been getting in, and I haven't heard back either), and the person I emailed said that they do not comment on individual applications, but that he could say that most acceptances have been sent out and that they anticipate all will be out by the end of January.
