Sad about this because my POI's research was exactly what I wanted to do and I thought I had an amazing relationship with her (been communicating back and forth for nearly 3 years now and she came to give a talk to my current department and the university)...oh well. Thus is the graduate application game.

Accepted to program, but on a waitlist for funding. 1 of only 2 accepted students this year.

my gre preparation class in china is under investigation for cheating so I had to answer some questions about that, but after that they said ok!

They are snobs anyways. Just kidding! Congrats to people admitted!

Got an email from the Dept. director and was offered the chance to apply for university fellowship.

Oh, well! I expected it since no interview. Yes, a waste of $125, but congrats to those who were well-suited for this year's program!

Very sad but expected after not getting an interview. Congratulations to those who got in, this is my dream program.

Graduate coordinator emailed that I'm on the list of alternates. Final decisions in early April.
