To the post below, I recieve the email that says: We have made our first round of offers and will be making a second round in early to mid-March. Although you are presently in our shortlist, there is no guarantee that we will be able to make you an offer. Any idea about this university?

I have heard NOTHING. My status changed back to "under review" along with everyone else, no changes since.

To the poster below, admission to Uni of Torornto graduate research programs are highly dependent on securing a supervisor. Unless you have a faculty member willing to supervise your research program, the application will be rejected. If you are in contact with a possible supervisor, follow-up as soon as possible.

To the poster below, they wrote to me saying the same thing about my name making it to the long list! Any idea whether they have sent their second round of offers? It's beginning to look bleaker.

Grad GPA. Emailed the graduate advisor to inquire about my application status, notified that I was rejected.

Wrote email to the department and received "your application made the long list, however we cannot guarantee making an offer. Your offer may come with our next round of offers and is dependent that we still have space available in our program. Final decisions would be made by the end of April."

Hey I'm an international student. Nothing so far. Even sent them an email last week asking if I could get the result before this Wednesday because I have to decide whether to take my second choice offer. The woman (Andrea) was very kind and she forwarded my email to the admissions committee, but I guess they got too many of this kind of emails so they just ignore them. And YES they do review Canadians' files first. =

To the poster below, I haven't contacted any professors and am scared to right now because it might be a little too late. Does anyone think otherwise? Please advise

Any international students get a response yet? So much for random selection, they seem to be focused on the domestic students first. (I'm Canadian but an international student)

to the poster below asking about stats. overall GPA:3.7 Last 2 years closer to 3.8/3.9. Two pretty solid academic references and some experience with archives/records in music. I am going into UXD and going to be taking electives in ARM. Hope this helps, good luck to all.

I applied in February, still waiting for a response. To the person below who received their acceptance today, when did you apply?

SGS still says until 'under review' but just checked on ROSI/ACORN and both say invited for MI 2017/2018 start date. super excited but still awaiting funding/scholarship info.

Solicited rejection. Was told that if you haven't heard by now, you are not on the admit or waitlist. There were over 300 applicants for 11 spots.

Stunned.
