Yipaaay America here I coming!

Qualified for admission, but no faculty matching research interests.

got a phone call and two emails letting me know I've been accepted. yay!!

Rackham is going to refund the application fee for folks who erroneously received acceptance notices earlier this month. IF you haven't gotten an e-mail and got invovled in this whole mess, I would recomed contacting Rackham asap. The message reads: "The Graduate School strives to provide the best possible service and our service did not meet our expectation. I trust that you will accept our apology and appreciate that you shared your concerns with us. The application fee will be refunded. CollegeNET, the application vendor, was authorized to issue a refund. The various steps in the process from the application vendor to the credit card provider will take up to 10 business days for the credit to appear on your credit card statement. The credit card statement will indicate UNIV OF MICHIGAN or College App Fee. "

C'est la vie. I thought I connected really well with my POI, but thems the breaks.

Oh well. My POI and I connected really well so I was hoping this would work out. Congrats to all those accepted
