Hello to the poster below. I am an International student and have applied for MASc in ECE with an option for MEng. Could you please let me know if its comparitively easier to get into MEng than MASc ? What exactly does Round 1 and Round 2 deadlines signify ? Also, my application status still shows : Application received. Have been waiting since a long time.

Poster below, are you a Canadian or international student? I'm still waiting too, UofT undergrad. I'm fearing that acceptances get emailed first, then rejections will get sent out via postal mail, like previous years :(

Accepted into 12 month (advanced) MIRHR Program. BBA with HR specialization, 3.9/4.3 GPA, 3 years direct LR work experience

To the poster below - what was ur gpa and experience?

"Positions in the MIRHR program are awarded on the basis of a number of criteria, as discussed on the Centre's web site. Admission to the program is very competitive (only 28-30 spaces for 150+ applications). As I am sure you can appreciate, the level of competition is extremely high and successful applicants must significantly exceed the minimum requirements for admission. "

I knew it was coming so not super disappointed. Congrats to everyone admitted!

Offered 3k first round entrance scholarship. GPA is from final 2 years.

3.7 GPA, currently work full-time in same field. 4 previous co-ops.

Accepted for 3.5 year Masters program. Canadian applicant, undergraduate degree in Interior Design from Ryerson University as well as significant research experience at U of T. Worked at Quadrangle Architects.

Domestic student. Got email March 4th but only formally accepted later. General MA stream, TAship only.

Posters who got accepted: around what time did you receive your acceptances by email

Emailed the department and all short-listed candidates have already been contacted and decision letters will be sent out. So basically I'm expecting a rejection since I wasn't contacted. BA from McMaster with a 3.9 GPA. What a joke...

To the poster below, thanks so much for the info! Good to hear we might still have a chance. I got rejected from other schools, UT is my last hope. Good luck to all of us. (Canadian undergrad, B+GPA, no related work exp...)

For anyone interested, I called the admissions office and was told that not all admissions have been sent out yet - that they are going out on a "rolling basis" (whatever that means). Accepted students can expect to hear back via email, phone and post.

Waitlisted, but glad to still have a shot. Fingers massively crossed. Applied for environmental collaborative program.
