Does anyone know what the "hybrid MS program" means?

Email with generic rejection. Good luck everyone

Generic reject mail. Quite sad. No Gre. Good Gpa from tier 2 school. 1 publication and ton of intern experience. Need to motivate self and prepare for a year or two and get going again! Congrats to all admits! And others well, keep motivated, work hard.. You'll get your results soon.! Cheers!!

**Updated on March 31, 2021** While we are working remotely we will have completed our phd admissions by April 2. A number of ms/phd applicants will be offered admission to our new online ms or to our new hybrid ms program. OUR Fall admissions decisions for the MS ON-campus PROGRAM are complete. Students who are accepted to one of our programs must confirm acceptance by April 15. Due to the large volume of applications to both programs we request that all applicants refrain from calling or emailing about the status of their application.

Very shocked. Two IEEE conference papers(CVPR & ICME), 3.9+/4.0 GPA, GRE:329, 4.0, TOEFL: 105, several researchers experience, at least one strong LoR. I consider this as a very safety. Fortunately, already have admit from much better top schools. Very hurt, because it's a very lower ranking school.

TTPB: To the Admit below, Congrats!!! could you please share your profile and your area of interest. Thanks in advance

Got a mail to check status on portal. Generic rejection message

Shocked more than disappointed as I considered this as a safety. Have admits from much better schools. But yeah, very very weird admission cycle.

Already have admits from the Top 15, but still, rejection hurts especially if it's from a much lower ranking school compared to other admits. I thought I would get in, but 2021 admission season is crazy and highly unpredictable.

is there any possibility of acceptance after this point? I am really stunned by the number of rejection posts in the past week

Well, for the amount of time they made me wait, its disappointing. Moving on to the next one. Congrats to those who got in!

Mail to check the update on the web portal. First admit of this year, relieved. :) Profile: Applied Data Scientist at an e-commerce giant, 3 Years. IIT CSE, Very high GPA. 3 Workshop Papers.
