I agree with the other Princeton posters. The department should be notified but in order for any action to be taken there needs to be definitive proof. In case anyone wants to do inform the university anonymously, Princeton has an ethics phone-line as well as an anonymous online submission form. And I am sorry for those who applied and are being treated this way. This is incredibly rude to those who spent time and money on their applications.

without interview! No paper but 2 years of research experience

Not sad to be rejected by a department whose faculty posts applicants' proposals on their facebook accounts for public mockery

Too many strong applicants this year, and the situation will get harder and harder hereafter. I have top 1 GPA, a first-author ApJL, and very strong letters. One of my supervisors is an alumni, but I am still rejected. Good luck to applicants next year!
