I have a doubt about their admission process. I believe they did not admit a single student in CS.

got offered the home-to-hopkins porgram. Committed else where anyways

Got offered the sh*tty online program, f*ck this

Not officially waitlisted, but I am yet to hear back from them. Anyone else on the same boat?

3 YoE including some research experience in computer vision

Accepted!!!

Ignore waitlist. TTPB: How do you know that one-third of all applicants were rejected? I saw a couple of admits on /r/gradadmissions but I don't see rejects. I haven't heard back from UBC yet.

No email. Randomly cheked portal to find a single word "deny" sent 2 days ago. Very unprofessional. First university I've ever seen reject applicants with one word.

For those who don't know and future applicant searching: on Friday, April 14th, around 10 am Vancouver time, there was a mass rejection (according to polls, around 1/3 of applicants were rejected). A few have also mentioned admits on Reddit.

Ignore waitlist. Any news from UBC Vancouver CS department? Haven't seen a single admit so far. Why are they awfully late this time? Last yeat they sent offers around mid Feb, already August now. If anyone inquired the department please let me know.

No Work Ex. 1 low-tier conference publication in NLP domain.

There's no way I'm joining this nigger shithole of a college. I was gonna apply to college park but I forgot that they were different. Fuck all kike bastards who tricked me.
