Hotdamn! I wanted this one.

Not surprising but ouch. Current undergrad. 2 conferences. 2 pubs (1 in undergrad journal though). Some contact with POI beforehand.

To be expected as it is such a competitive school, but still a bummer.

First school I hear back from and it's a rejection email. International student with MA from top tier American university, participated in conferences and conducted fieldwork. Since someone posted that they can only accept two internationals, any advice for how to strengthen my application next year?

The dept. can only accept 2 internationals, but over 1/3 of their apps are from internationals.

Email to check portal. This is truly disappointing!!! I feel hurt as an international student.

I wonder how many internationals they admitted..

well. it is in my expectation. Good luck to all rejected by Berkeley, we can find the best one after all

Congrats to people who are admitted!!

Oh well. Onwards and upwards, I suppose!
