At the time of this decision, two of my recommendation letters were not received by the university. Which I believe is the reason for my rejection.

E-mail from the PI I had a skype interview with notifying me of invite to recruitment weekend/what to expect, followed by official program e-mail invite.

Knew that I was going to be rejected. When i contacted admissions in the summer, they told me that I was not a competitive applicant (GPA 3.5, 9 months oncology lab experience). They wanted at least 6 months neuro lab experience.

2 first-author pubs in other areas; interviews to be held from 2nd to 5th March

Master's in neuroscience, 4 publications (including 2 papers, 1 first name paper), 1 national conference poster, high Master's GPA (undergrad decided GPAs differently than most schools), great rec letters.

Did not receive invitation to interview; all invites already sent
