The email does not mean admit. I might be getting those emails because I live in the area and they flagged me as likely to attend events or something. I wouldn't worry about not getting them, I doubt they mean anything.

Invited for Campus Visit Day. Not attending as I'm an international applicant (and I also have classes currently).

Pretty sure this is another one of the generic admissions emails that have been getting sent out over the past few weeks about admission events. Pretty poorly worded if you ask me, I got really excited when I saw the email at first.

I received an email inviting me to their campus, but I haven't received notifications such as interview, offer or WL. Does that mean campus interview?

***edit to the previous. I meant "non-POI faculty member" not "non-faculty POI"

Committee made their decision. They told me my advisor. Official letter will come soon. No funding mentioned.

TTPB: Yeah! Area is ~systems. Interview was with professor that was not listed in SOP. Interview seemed to have went well. 2nd interview from UChicago.
