Understandable Chembio PhD: Emailed POI, All interviews and acceptances for those who interviewed already have been sent. Last interview round and waitlisted students + everyone else who has been rejected should hear at the end of the month.

Just got a call from the director offering me admission into the program Fall 2018!

Received invited to visiting days (2/5-2/7). Currently in Master's program (3.965 GPA). 2 years masters research, 1 semester undergrad research, no pubs/manuscripts. Contacted the POI during the summer prior to applying. For anyone wondering: visiting days inc. interviews with POI, grad student/post-docs from lab of interests, & 3 addtl faculty.

Berkeley finally moved forward in our relationship....decided to make it official.

This is my dream school and I devote all my hope to it, now I just want to cry......

Received 2 letters from the department, dated 29th Jan.

To the poster asking about the most recent BBSP admits- my interview was their first weekend (2/1-2/3) and I know they have four weekends with each program conducting a rolling review process (so various programs will release offers at different points as the committees meet). I personally had a fantastic set of interviews and really connected with faculty so I was pretty confident I'd be accepted + I think they admit ~70% of students they interview. Good luck!!

I interviewed the first weekend (Feb 1-3)

Received an email from my POI telling me that I'm admitted and that an official email will be following shortly! I'm so pumped!!

He said they're just starting to call people to inform them. Official letter to be mailed.

To the other EEB student who received their acceptance yesterday (I haven't heard anything yet): Which PI emailed you? The suspense is killing me!

Transferred to the second program(Immunology) on Jan 30, Does anybody know when the last interview week for Immunology is?
