To those of you who had interviews: did they tell you when they'd make a decision?

TTPB, congratulations! Would you mind sharing more details, please? Did you have an interview? Can you share the initials of the supervisor?

Email from supervisor. Official acceptance and funding details to follow by the end of next week. First offer of the season. Very excited. Area: theory

I was excited when I opened this email last night. I made a note to myself to check my work calendar first thing, and when I went to register, all three visiting days were full. Not sure how this affects potential acceptance.

Received an invitation to visit the campus.

To the UChicago posters below: UChicago Linguistics contacted me for an interview with 2 POIs about a week and a half ago. I did the Skype interview. I haven’t heard back from them yet about my status. But, I don’t think getting an interview guarantees admission.

To the poster below about the UChicago: I am also waiting, and UChicago was one of the programs I have been the most hopeful about. However, I have not heard from 7 universities out of 10 I have applied to, and considering the general timeline, I am trying to keep calm.

Is anyone else still waiting to hear, or does this mean I’m getting rejected?

I received the Master offer (funding: 5k) before I received the campus visit email.

Received this invitiation email as well. I am assuming this is only a generic invitation.. However they did mention "a meeting with admission"...

I'm so excited! Just got an email about an update to my application, opened up the website, and saw an acceptance letter!

FWIW, this was the email: Dear ____, We invite you to register for a campus visit tailored to students interested in either Harris Public Policy’s MA in Public Policy with Certificate in Research Methods (MACRM) or PhD programs. Please select a campus visit day below. Your campus visit will include a class observation, a coffee chat with a current student, a meeting with admissions, and a tour of the Keller Center. Received campus visit invitation email geared toward all non-applicants and MPP applicants as well... I am not local. I'm trying to determine whether this could impact admissions at all.
