To all the anxious posters below-I emailed Carol last Wednesday and she said it might take another two weeks OR SO till I can get a response from the admissions committee. so good to know I'm not the only one who still hasnt given up hope and has been checking my email and ROSI status literally every hour...looks like they stopped sending out acceptances since March 10th. I think they are waiting to see how many people accepted on or before that day are going to decline their offers. So maybe we will hear something this Friday...

Canadian. Applied for 2.5 year and accepted to 3.5 year program. Have an undergrad arch degree and worked for years...disappointed.

To the poster below: The truth is hard to hear but any people who haven't heard from them are simply being used as the spare tires. You know, if somebody who gets an offer but decides to go elsewhere, then they may pull you out. You sure can make hope but it's a long shot. This way of handling has been their admission strategy since 2016.

Posters below: I feel the exact same way. I agree that the admissions dept is lacking in terms of communication, they just regurgitate the same "rolling basis" BS. If they were actually doing that, I wouldn't have been waiting for a response since November. I contacted them via email asking to know my status (with a valid reason) and they said my application was "Under Review", they said the same thing when I emailed them March 3rd. It seems they send out acceptances in batches, so let's try and be patient. Also, join the iSchool thread in the gradcafe forum, much more conversational

Accepted via ROSI. Not sure actual acceptance date due to being locked out of ROSI until this morning (could not access ACORN) Second time applying, first time was waitlisted. Iadded significant experience to my resume since applying two years ago. Super authentic written statement, 89% avg in 3+4 level courses.

Accepted via ACORN, acceptance package came in mail 2-3 business days after ACORN update. Approx. 2000 hours of experience (direct social work exp as well as extracurricular).

I'm getting really frustrated with the admissions folks. Why are they taking so long to send out communications? What is this 'rolling basis' business even about. They hardly sent out any info, only few people have heard back. I've followed up twice via email and STILL haven't heard back. The least they can do is put people on waiting lists so we have at least a slight idea of what to expect. Or just flat out reject people. I'm so fed up of waiting, my entire life feels like it is on hold. There are other things I could be doing in this time, IE moving to another city for job opportunities. But I have this hope that I'll get accepted to the program so I sit here, every single day, checking my damn email and portal for a sign. ANY SIGN. God damn. Anyone else feel my pain?

Same here. International and still haven't heard a thing. Same for UBC, SFU, Waterloo and McGill. Haven't heard back from any of the universities I applied to. Let's hope for the best.

To the poster below: Who got accepted on March 20. Congratulations! You mentioned your CGPA was low, did you have a lot of work experience? If you don't mind, can you share your CGPA? Also, what did you write in your email when you contacted them?

I only see 5 MSc admits below .... mostly from undergraduates from Canada. Does anyone know what is going on with international applicants?

I guess they have finally sorted out. Oh well

Mail response for MSc Application results : Dear xxx, If you have not received a decision till now it is because no decision has been made regarding your application. We make our decisions from February to March and the offers are sent out primarily in February and March. We have rolling admissions so there is no one fixed date on which all offers are sent. Most of the offers have been sent out and the remaining will be sent out before May. Applicants who are not accepted into the program will be notified in May. Kindest Regards, xxxx

To the poster below: I would say that I was interviewed at the very beginning of Feb and no any response until now. I am so nervous in these weeks waiting for their decision, but nothing comes. : (
