I had mine last month.. the interviewer asked me a lot of questions and it really did not feel as laid back as others said it would have been. They asked if I had questions about the program, problems that I have faced before and how that makes me a better person, what do I think I could personally bring in that is new to a speech program, my passions and desires, why I choose speech, what makes me different from someone else, and my thoughts and opinions on the questions we had to answer via csdcas, etc. Good luck!!

Has anyone who has been interviewed give any tips? I have a phone interview and was wondering what the structure would be like. Thanks!

Edit: I got an email saying they were recommending admission - 3/12 and an official admission letter on the online portal - 3/18. I withdrew my application on 3/23 because I accepted Marquette University's offer.

Edit: I got invited to interview - 2/15 via email, got notified by the department that they were recommending that I be admitted- 3/12 via email, and got an official offer of admission 3/16 via email and the online portal. I accepted their offer! :)

I got an email telling me to check my portal and a letter in the mail.

I got an email from the department and an email letting me know to check my portal. Attached was a letter of admission with confetti animation :).

Interviewed over two weeks ago and finally got the phone call today that I was admitted.

Off the waiting list. Excited!
