Denied admission to the PhD, but offered a space in the EdM program with TC Diversity and TC Scholarship.

I just got an acceptance on Friday. Not sure if I can go cuz *MONEY* but I'm happy to have been accepted!

Has anyone from second priority deadline (Feb 15) received an admit yet?

PLEASE accept or decline your acceptance if you have made a decision. TC is my top choice.

To the ppl below, was the acceptance through the portal? or was it an unofficial email ? i got something unofficial on feb 19th but haven't heard anything since...

Does anyone know if Columbia has decided to invite graduate engineering students to live on campus yet? The last time we had an information session, they announced that things were still unclear, and I can't seem to find a timeline on their website to make a decision.

They might be done admitting their students. I got my admission letter in early Feb

Got an email to check the portal for status update

(Ignore the waitlist) TTPB: Sorry to hear about the rejection. May I ask who did you inquire for the followup email? I have tried to contact both the physics department (heard about the person in charge of the office will end his job on 03/08) and the GSAS office but no reply at all. I also inquired with the professor who interviewed me (whether all offers will be sent before the open house date) but she said that "Indeed the Open House was scheduled some time ago to be held early next week. However, the admission process is very unusual this year, and its timing doesn't necessarily match the timing of the Open House."

Interviewed about 2 weeks ago (hep-ex). I had sent a followup email a few days ago, got reply today that stated they weren't going to offer admission.

Applied to clinical psyc and got offered a spot in neuroscience instead. Will likely not be accepting despite this being my dream school :/

TPB: when do they require you to response? Mine is 3/10... but I have many other PhD programs pending. Is UBC pre-PhD MSc program good as a bridge to a better PhD, any insider?

Canadian applicant. Extremely generous funding.
