Disappointed especially given my objective measures. Perhaps, it had to do with fit. Looking forward to hearing back from the other schools I applied to. Congratulations to those who get in.

Director of Graduate Studies just called me, assessing my interest in the program. They said they will send out admission letters by the end of the week! Very Hopeful!

Knew this was a reach. One of my letter of rec writers didn't get a letter in on time.

I feel better because it's not a notification that tells you to check the portal. Good luck to those who get the offer!

Same as everyone below. Received an email after being interviewed saying I was admitted but waitlisted for funding.

They didn't review my application because I forgot to submit my writing sample. Don't understand why they waited three months to tell me that.

Was admitted. They are looking for funding and should hear back in a few weeks. I applied to NSF and Ford (two external fellowships) and I hope I get one of them as they give great funding, but yeah, like the other Rutger's admit, waiting on funding. Going to call the department and ask if this is a common practice, and what usually follows/how does this play out for students.
