Over 400 applicants for 10 spots. In complete disbelief.

Offered admission to NYU's master's program in Biology

Extremely excited

Area : Cybersecurity, PI Prof. Ramesh Karri, Masters from tier 1 college in India, 3 accepted publications. 2.5 years R&D lab experience.

To the waitlist poster below--did you have an interview w/ dept?

Got a phone call from a professor on the admissions committee saying the official letter is coming later this week!! Shocked and excited! Funding details in letter to come.

To the poster below, would you mind to share your area of expertise and/or professor name? Best

To the NYU poster below. Congrats. After POI confirmation, have your received any official letter or funding details ? I only got a confirmation of funding. However, POI told me to confirm the offer by 23rd Feb. Looks like they are going to evaluate other candidates if I am unable to confirm anything. Area : Cybersecurity.

Notified that we’ll get long “letters” via email by end of the week with nitty gritty program details. But full funding and everything!!!! :’)

Canadian applicant. MA and BA at Canadian schools. Received an email from the grad director this evening. SO EXCITED!

Received unofficial email from POI 1/29, official notification 2/7

International (non canadian) applicant. Was cautioned by POI that York accepts between 0 - 2 international students per year (depending on funding) before I applied. Didn't get an invite to interview day, so knew rejection was forthcoming.

Has anyone heard back from NLP track(CS/CDS NYU GSAS)?
