Emailed Graduate application assistant, received reply; no professor marked my file, Then Contacted POI whom I contacted before and after I applied. I mentioned only one POI in the SOP. Received reply in an hour that unfortunately no admission for me. 3 journal publications, 4 conferences. two of years research experience after graduation. Not disappointed. Bye bye Toronto. | ||||

To the poster below: I was informed via email back in Feb by my POI that I'm waitlisted. Just a few days before I got a phone call by another prof I've indicated on my statement of intent for a short phone interview - lasted about 5 min but possibly because I've actually chatted with her before. That was the extent of the "interview" for everyone shortlisted as far as I understand. | ||||
