Had an earlier entry but I can't seem to change that. Application made: Before Dec 3 funding deadline, Interview invite: 16/12/2025, Interview: 13/1/2026, Decision Pending: 23/1/2026, Offer made: 5/2/2026

Thank you very much for applying to the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Yale University. I regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you admission. As you know, the very high number of extraordinary candidates far exceeds the number of places we have in each program, and we are not able to admit many excellent candidates. We wish you every success in all your future endeavors.

10+ rejections now. a hard admission cycle

Received interview invite 1/16 and was interviewed 1/27.

MA GPA 4.0

grad GPA 3.978. email to check portal. 0a/0w/0i/2r/11 pending. grateful to Yale as it is efficient. no official letter from UW Seattle, UCLA, Toronto, but I believe that I have been rejected. any quick rejection is better than a rejection around March.

Accepted via email! Interviewed last week with top supervisor!

[ignore status] Hi! I am wondering if there's anyone else who applied to this program and haven't received any update yet? I did not receive emails from Brown, and my portal is not updated. I am a bit confused & anxious and please post here if you are also in the same situation - good luck!

Masters GPA 0a/2r/1i/6p sigh, this is a brutal process

Didn’t submit GRE. Email to check portal. GPA is undergrad; master’s is 4/4. At least the rejection letter was nicely worded lol 1a/1r/4p
