Been waiting for an email back. Finally got a email back from director I was rejected and my rejection was “‘misplaced” and they're sorry they don't have a spot for me. Seeing all these post on Rutgers graduate department. I will never reply because they're extremely unprofessional. Thanks for the opportunity. My decision still isn't on the portal.

I wrote to Rutgers to get information about my application process. They told me that they sent all letters to both accepted and waitlisted students. They said that if I have not received a rejection letter, it could be possible to be accepted or waitlisted, but any new information will be only available on April 15th. In other words, I've been rejected. IR subfield. 2A/5R/2P

Got an email from MGSA telling me about my decision and then a second email from Rutgers saying to check the portal

I had to email grad director. No notification. Got a response same day.

CMT/ QI. No pubs. Two relevant projects.

Reached out to DGS regarding application status as a decision on the applicant pool was supposed to have been reached. Received a very kind reply back from the DGS today notifying me that I am on the waitlist.

CMT. No internships. Final year Master's project. Informed via email to check portal.

IGNORE STATUS. Has anyone heard back from Women, Gender, & Sexuality Study grad program? Is there a hidden waitlist? I seen ppl got denied back at the end of Feb and early March. Ugh I emailed the director no response.

I just checked and I was rejected. I even applied to work under my former mentor professor.

No email, just happened to be checking status page

IGNORE WAITLIST Does Rutgers CompLit offer admissions to just one or two candidates per cycle? That's how their current graduate students page looks like. Bleak prospects, if true

Email to check portal. Rival to the other program I got into -- sad I can't leverage for more stipend but congratulations to those who got in!

I already knew the results, having received an email from the Director of the Graduate program, but I received an email today to check the portal. No formal rejection letter in the portal. Just once sentence saying, "Your application has been reviewed, and the committee has denied admission."

Personally think their way of informing the decision was cold, improper and totally impersonal. Weird

No email, checked portal. Message was curt and sorta rude.
