No interview. I was offered admission to the Masters Program in Mathematics instead, which I've heard is pretty common for NYU. I declined. They also never watched the optional video which made me a little salty because I stressed about that for a while.

Rejection came FOUR days after submitting all application materials.

interviewed on 2.26 quantitative biology track. But till now no message from NYU. I saw someone has received. Did they send offer on the same day and then give rejection on another day??

First noticed by phone call, then the official letter came in (feb 21). Accepted and super excited!

Applied for the PhD in music technology and offered a seat in the MM program instead. Anyone else got into the program? Would like to discuss about it. Thanks

Ahh I'm so excited!!

Got the email this morning! 3.42 undergrad gpa and 5 years work experience in the field. Super excited!

Email notification to check the portal. Congrats to everyone who got in!

I haven't received an email notification yet, but I just happened to check the application portal and I saw that an update had been posted! No information on financial aid yet

Not int. Anyone applied to stern has heard back from them? This is the last program on my list that hasn't released the decision yet. Eager to resolve the uncertainty

Randomly checked my NYU portal and saw that I had an admission offer! Still haven't received an email to check portal.

Did anyone receive a notification about scholarships? Would it have been a part of the acceptance letter?

Right. And then international students come to AMERICA to get their PhD. Because they are more talented and qualified, instead of getting it where they're from.

Yes because we are then taught by professors who we literally don't understand a single thing from. We could learn, if our professors could speak. It's actually very true. It's sad how research skills determine whether professors can teach. Don't take it personally. It's just how it is.

TTPB: I guess you do not know what is introspect. An international undergrad may take more PhD level courses than you did, have done more research than you did, have higher standard scores than you, and more importantly, more likable than you. Stop blaming international students for your stupidness and incompetence.
