CSD GPA 3.59; First time applying was in Fall 2016 - denied, Second time Spring 2017 - waitlisted, Summer 2017 - denied...I highly recommend applying to many schools. This is my second year applying to schools and it's definitely worth it. Now, I'm on four waitlist and still need to hear from 12 more schools (I applied to 21). UCM is EXTREMELY competitive now as the field in general is getting more competitive each year too. Apply, apply, apply! The money spent will be worth it in the end! | ||||

One of my professors was having trouble uploading her letter to the online portal, so they said she could email her letter to them. Well technology fails sometimes and they didn't receive my letter in time. I wish they would have sent me a reminder a few weeks before to let me know they never got the email. They have a super strict deadline as stated on their website. My professor even tried to talk to them about it. Oh well, this is why I applied to 21 schools this year. You never know what is going to happen! Do not limit yourself! | ||||
