The comment below is for BMSB, not BBSB. This is the Chemistry and Biochemistry department refusing to repay reimbursements and rectify the situation. Prospective students, if they’re doing this now would you want to wait and see what they’ll pull sometime down the line?

Not unexpected. This was a reach.

Got an email from the professor. had a 19 min interview on skype on Feb 20.

Was contacted by the department by phone then email, apparently they will not be reimbursing interviewees and prospective students based on minor technicalities. Had an unpleasant exchange with the department administration, decided to withdraw my interest. Be careful out there, some departments don’t practice what they preach.

Thrilled. The first offer.

Confirmation of interview on January 13th. Officially accepted Feb 22nd.

Same person as below poster but accidentally switched up my verbal and quantitative GRE scores. Correct scores in this post. Undergrad GPA in this post instead of master's though.

GPA is from master's. Date on post is for my official letter offer for the distinguished doctoral fellowship I have been awarded (stipend $35-40k). I received notice from my PI that I had been nominated Jan. 31st and received unofficial notice from my programs grad coordinator that I had received the fellowship last week on Feb. 15th. Super excited since this is such an absurd offer and I'm excited about my PI's lab! Now here's hoping to visits help in deciding where I want to go!
