TTPB: No I have not received a response from them. Maybe if more of us email, they'll be prompted to get back to us.

TTPB :- Did you get a reply to your email inquiring about the dates?

TTPB: Stop posting fake news! I think Stanford won't release result until end of March!

TTPB: I think these people will just keep creating fake posts till the time the decisions are actually out.

Can you give the proof? A screenshot of your email?

Will decline the offer since I have decided to do a PhD directly in another school. I am a final year undergrad from a business school (accounting and business double degree), specializing in Actuarial Science. No work experience, no publication. Some research experience in risk and insurance. Strong LoRs. Hope it helps!

Is there anyone who got rejected for Ph.D. and got accepted for the MS program offered by the Mechanical department, Stanford?

1 year research w/ grant from NASA, 2 industry internships, 2 years teaching experience

!!!!

So grateful. 2 years research, 2 solid internships, 1 year of work in R&D. LORs from professor, research mentor, and internship manager.

It sucks when you really hope for something and then don't get it with no explanation. GRE-324, 1.5 years work experience at electronics company, undergrad GPA- 8.9/10, racecar team group lead during undergrad, intern in US company, good extra-curriculars: still not good enough for Stanford :(

Hurts, but expected. Congrats to those who got in!

TTPB :- Kindly let us know in case you hear back.

Rejected via e-mail. Disappointed, but not unexpected. Undergrad from top tier institute in India.
