Got an email about a decision update

Full tuition waiver, TA position with $23416 stipend plus $4500 for outstanding academic accomplishment.

I submitted my application in early December. Received rejection today.

Very sad ..interviewed on 6 jan

So depressed.

To the poster below, have you thought about explaining the situation to MIT? You could ask the prof who signed your recommendation letter to email them perhaps?

Physical Chemistry

I got accepted two weeks ago but my offer is revoked today. My professor told me to write the reference letter myself and she signed it. It is very common in German. But the grad office reviewed and noticed my edit history… Shit! Extremely careful check this year! But glad that they used a very clever way to protect my reputation.

Does anyone know if U of I will continue to send offers to internation students ?

How common is an interview before admission and what are the chances that I would get in?

Even the notification email has mistype in it. Wow

They sent me an email saying "A decision has been made" and told me to log into my application in order to see the decision. Expected the rejection though
