Sighhh...ABSOLUTELY disappointed! After I submitted ALL of my materials at the end of March (when there was a April 1st deadline)...I waited until June 17th-a whole 3 MONTHS...just to be rejected???? Ughhh and then a $125 application fee on top of that??! Ooo well...I guess I will be where I was meant to be- at my top choice! Though I find it weird that Hunter rejected me and Columbia didn't!! I called the graduate admissions, because I had planned on re taking the GRE and wanted to inform them to not make a decision until I had a chance to retake it. Well the lady told me that they had already mailed out my admissions notification and that I had been granted admittance. YAHOO!!! | ||||

I opened the envelope today as soon as I got home from my undergraduate graduation today (5/21/10). I was pleasantly surprised that I got into this program, since my GRE scores were by no means the best (which restores my faith that standardized exams aren't the end all, be all!). What a GREAT graduation present huh? While this isn't my first choice for my MPH, I will still pay the deposit to reserve my spot until I hear from my top choice! | ||||
