DPhil application

No news from funding until April...

Not so surprising to be rejected with low verbal and AW in GRE.

conditional on getting a distinction in my Oxford MSt.

Haven't contact any faculty member there. Who cares. Already have much better offers.

To the poster below: I haven't received a BPhil notification either.

"I am writing in connection with your application for admission to the BPhil in Philosophy. The application and supporting materials have now been carefully considered by the Board of Admissions of the Faculty of Philosophy, but I am sorry to have to inform you that your application has not been successful. Application to Oxford is extremely competitive and we are not able to offer places to all the excellent candidates who apply. Please note that, if you have also applied for scholarships as listed on the Oxford application form, those applications will not be considered any further. Thank you for having considered Oxford as a place to undertake graduate work. We wish you every success with your plans for your future studies."

Emailed inquiring about status and was told I was rejected. Honestly not super surprised considering have no solid experience in water science, although I did major in geography and have extensive research experience in other natural resource management areas. For others who are waiting, the formal emails are being sent out soon!
