Was surprised because it has been so long. Then lapsed into some nonsensical rambling when telling my dad the news. Stuttered badly. Now very nervous. Very. o.O Interview on 15/3. Wish me luck guys!

To the poster below, I applied to the January deadline and heard back about two weeks later that I was a finalist for the Clarendon. A few days after my interview they told me I did not get the scholarship but was placed on the reserve list, and they have not yet given me a final decision. I believe the department is still matching accepted students with other possible funding sources. Hope this helps.

Your POI will know your Clarendon status. He/she will have nominated you. According to my POI, the group of selected students from the Zoology Department is already under consideration among the larger university pool.
