Kind of surprise, but it wasn't best fit and I guess that's the reason.

Email to check portal

Checked portal and it said they had sent me an email the day before. They didn't, but I did get an email later that day.

Strange timing to release decision but I'm in shock but I'm sooo happy.

Email today to interview this week.

No surprise- I was told by the department a few weeks ago that they had sent out all acceptances/waitlists in that initial wave, but the portal just updated with my rejection a few days ago with no email to check it. CP/Latin American Politics. Congrats to everyone who got in!

TTPB: apparently someone received an admissions offer already. This person contacted student services first and then they posted it onto her portal. Her field is AP/CP. Apparently actual admission letters will be sent end of February.

Just an update to my accept: a lot of people may be skeptical and rightfully so, but I didn't come on here to troll. I understand the stress and anxiety we're all going through. I just thought I'd share my results over here, hoping it may give some people hope that Yale is starting to get things rolling despite the radio silence. If you don't hear back from the graduate admissions or department, then you're probably going to hear from your POI informally as I did. Or maybe this was a one off, I'm not sure. Regardless, I'm elated. Good luck again everyone :)

does anyone get any response from usc？

Checked the portal; rip in pepperonis 1a/1wl/2r/13p

Got an email from my POI on Friday (was in my junk folder, so make sure y'all check) and only noticed it today. They informally let me know that I've been admitted and they are interested in my research proposal. They want to schedule a meeting to discuss more of my work, and that I should expect a formal admissions letter within 2-3 weeks. Super excited given this was my reach school. Goodluck everyone and dont stress :)

Rejections after rejections :-(

Checked website, no e-mail yet, had a status update with the typical Rejection prose. Losing hope! 0a/0w/2r/5p

Full Funding. A bit weird since not quite a good fit.

Email to check portal. Formal Theory. 27k Package. Will likely reject offer.
