"Due to limited resources we are not able to enlarge the number of applicants we are admitting this year, and the competition was very keen."

On waitlist for funding.

Fin aid decisions later

"We're very interested in you" (not formal acceptance though)

Funding info and official letter to follow in a few weeks

"we are making decisions soon and are very impressed with your record--we'd like to speak with you this week about your goals and our program"

Will hear about funding in Aprilish.... :) Online status page hadn't even been updated yet.

Letter dated 4/13. Too late though, already accepted another offer.

I was notified through an American institution that handled all my applications to 5 universities. Decision: I am on my way to IU Bloomington!!! They had the best offer and, more importantly, my research interests match with some faculty members.

Departmental Fellowship ($21000 /yr, 5yrs)

Accepted with two year delay possible.

Recieved a wait-list letter in the mail two weeks ago and got a voicemail yesterday afternoon letting me know that they can now offer me a spot in the program. Super happy. :)
