CAN' T BELIEVE IT SO EXCITED :)

To the other PhD applicant, i haven't heard anything yet.Don't know what to expect.How was your interview ?Are you a Canadian student ?

I emailed the department to ask about the status of my application. They said there are very few spaces for international students and that I have been placed on the waitlist. Also, they will not have news until April 5th or later. Fingers crossed!! This is absolutely my dream school and program. Current senior in college at a highly ranked liberal arts school in the US. Honors student. 3 years research experience. Several skype interviews and full support from the advisor. No external scholarships or publications.

Had a skype interview on 30th, got decision at the end of it. Got official letter last night. No papers. 2.5 yrs work experience, one intern.

My fourth waitlist without acceptance....ahh...I'm dying to know what's gonna happen

Has anyone heard from them yet? I am talking of both Canadian and International applicants? I was told by Ma'am Brenda that they are waiting to find a supervisor for my application and that they will tell international applicants the results of their application in early Summer. Also i just contacted one or two instructors but they didnt reply back so i don't know what to make of it but most probably a rejection i guess. Has anyone heard from them yet??

Ah, I haven't received any postal mail so I guess that's too bad :/

I called to check if first round of offers have gone out, they have. I was informed they are working on rejection letters.

Canadian student. UofT Architectural Studies undergrad. SGS website shows Decision Made today, checked my mailbox and got the rejection letter dated March 24th. I'll try again next year :(

Was not accepted :( very disappointed

SGS website said Decision Made, I didn't get an email so I called and they said it's either in progress or will be sent out via postal mail.

I haven't recieved a rejection via mail yet, but I asked the center via e-mail and got a scanned copy of rejection letter. I'm an international student, and when I asked the graduate coordinator, she told me that they only recieved 0-2 international students per year... I wish good luck to you all

Emailed the Graduate Studies Chair about the status of my application yesterday, and he just replied: Regrettably I will not be able to offer you admission to the program. We received a huge number of very strong applications, and have only a very limited number places available in our program for foreign students. Consequently we had to turn down many outstanding applicants.

Ontario applicant. 3.77 cu*ulative GPA. 3.95 SubGPA. 104 hours of volunteer experience. Shadowed an SLP working with kids with phonetics, phonology, receptive and expressive, and pragmatics difficulties. Volunteered as a Communication Partner one-on-one with seniors who had aphasia and apraxia. Strong references. No research experience.

I received the acceptance last week right after the interview and received my dream offer from USC yesterday. America is much more attractive for CS students than Canada. Salary LOL. So i will decline my place for Toronto. Good luck to you guys.
