I was wait-listed on March 3rd and was officially accepted yesterday (03/14)!

5-year funding

I thought the interview went rather well, so I was really surprised at the rejection. I am not too heartbroken as I have a really good offer from another program that I intend to accept. Congrats to those admitted!

I haven't heard anything yet, does this mean rejection or is there still hope?

To the poster below: I contacted them recently, they responded "Thank you for your interest in our program. Admissions are currently in process and you will be officially notified by the GSAS via email once a decision has been made."

Email notifying me that "our decision-making process is still underway. By April 15 at the very latest, we will know for certain whether we are able to make you an offer". Presumably that's a wait-list

hey yall has anyone heard back from Cultural anthro department.. Dept chair let me know notifications would begin going out last week and continue into this week...dying to know my status!!
